U.S. Bans Smoking on Public Housing, Protects Lives

After much anticipation, NAATPN is excited about the newly announced rule to ban smoking on all public housing nationwide. The policy will take effect in 2017 and will impact more than one million households. 

 

 

 

Under the rule, use of cigarettes, cigars, pipes and hookah will be prohibited in living units and within 25 feet of indoor and outdoor common areas.
